Scaling & Polishing
Professional Dental Cleanings
Scaling and root planning is one of the most effective, non-surgical ways to treat gum disease before it becomes severe. It cleans between the gums and the teeth and below the gum line — removing tartar from the surface of the teeth and smoothing the root surfaces. A simple procedure that works very well to stop and prevent gum disease, provided right in the care home.

Denture Care
Professional Denture Cleanings
Professional cleaning of full and partial dentures removes tartar, stain and bacteria that daily brushing can miss — helping prevent denture-related oral infections and keeping residents comfortable. We also check denture fit and labelling, and coordinate referrals to denturists when adjustments or new dentures are needed.

Arresting Tooth Decay

Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) is a non-invasive liquid applied to active cavities to stop decay from progressing — no drilling and no anaesthetic. It is an important option for residents who cannot tolerate conventional dental treatment, buying time and comfort until definitive care is possible.

Interim Stabilization Therapy
Temporary Restorations (IST)
Interim Stabilization Therapy (IST) is a temporary restoration procedure used to free a client from pain and prevent further damage to a tooth until it can be addressed by a dentist. IST requires no anaesthetic — it is non-invasive, non-traumatic and uses a fluoride-releasing glass ionomer cement that helps remineralize the affected lesion.
